Please refer to the local area map below for a general idea of where Steve's Segway Tours is located.  Specifics of which El train to take, or which driving route to take into the area, you will need to research yourselves (or, you are welcome to call us for help).  Drivers with GPS can try entering 5 N, or 5 S Columbus, 60603 into their GPS.  Once in the local area, there are actually only two sets of directions - those for people who are driving to us AND parking in the East Monroe Garage (Millennium Park Garage during the construction), and directions for everyone else.

Note - in all directions below, NEVER follow any sign that says "Segway tours" unless STEVE'S is clearly in front of the word Segway!  I am much too egotistical to ever leave my name off one of my signs - lol.

Directions for East Monroe Garage Parkers
ATTENTION - The East Monroe Garage is currently closed for a big construction project.  These directions are currently not valid.  Please follow the directions below for parking in the Millennium Park Garage.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

The entrance to the East Monroe Garage is located on the right side of Columbus Ave., just north of Monroe St..  It is only about 40 yards north of Monroe, so make sure you are in the far right lane.  Once underground, you will still be facing north.  Turn right (east), take your ticket, and go through the gate.  Make the next right (headed south), and go as far as you can.  You are now in section 1S, as in Steve.  I had the garage renumber everything so ...... okay, so I just got lucky that way!  Anyway, back to the directions.  At the south end of the garage (section 1S), turn right again (west), and go as far as you can.  You are now in the southwest corner of the garage - the Monroe and Columbus corner of the garage.  This is the corner you will walk out of after you park your car.  Now circle around and find a parking space, but walk back to this pedestrian exit.  When you exit (on foot) from where cars are, you will find yourself on a downward sloping pedestrian ramp.  Ahead, you will see a big Steve's Segway Tours sign on the windows in the open lobby area.  Walk towards the sign.  Opposite the sign will be three black doors - bathroom, bathroom, and then a mysterious third door.  That is it!  We are in there (the mysterious third door, not one of the bathrooms, lol).  Please note - if it is locked, you are still in the right place so do not panic and go elsewhere looking for us.

Directions for Millennium Park Garage Parkers

The entrances to the Millennium Park Garage are located on Columbus Avenue, just north of Monroe Street if you are coming from the south, or just south of Randolph Street if you are coming from the north.  After taking your ticket and driving through the gate, turn left (south) and try to park as close to Monroe as you can.  We are temporarily located inside the Millennium Park Garage, on level P3, just inside the Monroe Street pedestrian entrance/exit of the garage (the elevator is nearby).

<IGNORE THIS PARAGRAPH FOR NOW>  You will walk out of the garage onto Monroe.  Turn left (east) and walk to the corner.  This is the northwest corner of Columbus and Monroe.  IMPORTANT - cross Columbus so you are now on the NORTHEAST corner, and go down the stairs built directly into the sidewalk.  Enter the lobby (it'll look all boarded up during construction, but we are still there) and there will be three black doors - bathroom, bathroom, and then a mysterious third door.  That is it!  We are in there (the mysterious third door, not one of the bathrooms, lol).  Please note - if it is locked, you are still in the right place so do not panic and go elsewhere looking for us.<END IGNORE>

Note - we have pre-bought parking validations for this garage.  That means, if you park here, please let us know and you can purchase from us a parking validation for $15 that will be good for 12 hours of parking!  Please try to have exact change.

Directions for Everyone Else

If you are NOT driving and parking in the East Monroe Garage, then you will need directions to Steve's Segway Tours from outside the garage (not how to get to the garage and then directions to us from inside it, as in the above section).  If you are walking to us, taking public transportation and then walking to us, taking a taxi, or having someone drop you off, the directions are the same.  We are temporarily located inside the Millennium Park Garage, on level P3, just inside the Monroe Street pedestrian entrance/exit of the garage.  The Monroe Street entrance to the Millennium Park Garage is on the north side of Monroe, just west of Columbus (between Michigan and Columbus, but much closer to Columbus).

<IGNORE THIS PARAGRAPH FOR NOW>  You will need to get yourself to the northeast corner of the intersection of Columbus Ave. and Monroe St. (remember, the lake is always east, and the tall buildings are north).  On the northeast corner of Columbus and Monroe, there will be a stairwell built directly into the sidewalk.  It is marked "East Monroe Garage Entrance".  Go down the stairs and into the open lobby area (not so open during the construction period, but we are still here).  You will see a big and beautiful Steve's Segway Tours sign on the windows.  You might think to yourself, "Wow, that really is a beautiful sign!  Did Steve design that sign as well as write this entire website, as well as design this company from scratch?  Is there no end to that man's ego....er, I mean talents!?".  When you are finally able to tear your eyes away from our sign (hard to do, I realize, lol), opposite it will be three black doors.  Two of them are bathrooms, and the mysterious third door - that's us!  Please note - if it is locked, you are still in the right place so do not panic and go elsewhere looking for us.<END IGNORE>

Note - sadly, during construction you will not be able to admire my big and beautiful sign on the window because most of the lobby is all boarded up, but we are still there.  Oh well, sigh, next time.
